Marsh Gibbon New Build

I was invited to consult on this new build project before the foundations had even been laid which is the perfect time to engage an interior designer...i.e when you still have time to make the best decisions regarding lighting, electrical and layout plans. I was also working with the clients on colour and finish choices both for the solid surfaces as well as soft furnishings. In soite of their desire for a modern scheme, what was particularly lovely about these clients was their wish to bring some treasured pieces from their previous home and it was my job to incorporate these into the new spaces. Another fabulous part of this job is my client's passion and cleverness with house plants. They have been used to great effect throughout the house and add softness as well as zesty life to all their rooms...I love it!
